Our mission is to design - through technology - incredible spaces where people are at home, anywhere in the world.
FurHouz rents move-in-ready furnished apartments in Gulshan, Banani, Baridhara Diplomatic Zone, Bashundhara R/A and Dhaka's luxury segment. Our tenants are expatriates, diplomats, NGO and development staff, and corporate assignees on long assignments. Our landlords lease apartments to us on a fixed monthly rent that we pay whether the unit is occupied or not.

WHY WE EXIST
Two problems, one company
Finding a home in Dhaka takes longer than most arriving professionals have. Viewings are scattered across brokers, lease terms get renegotiated from scratch every time, and an apartment that looks finished in photos often turns up without a working kitchen or a usable internet line. For someone landing with a two-week hotel booking and a job starting Sunday, that is not a small inconvenience.Property owners have the reverse problem. A good apartment sits empty between tenants, brokers bring unscreened prospects, and the maintenance call always comes at the worst hour.FurHouz sits between the two. We take apartments on long leases, renovate and furnish them at our own cost, and rent them as finished homes. The owner gets a fixed monthly payment. The tenant gets keys to somewhere already ready.

WHAT'S NEXT
Where we're going
We want to move past Gulshan, Banani and Baridhara into the rest of Dhaka, and then the cities growing behind it. More people now work remotely and move more often, and they expect a home to be usable the day they arrive rather than three weeks later. We are building for that with better data, tighter operations and a set furnishing standard, instead of more brokers.
What renting a furnished apartment with FurHouz involves
This section replaces the current 900-word block. Same subject matter, broken into four answerable questions so a reader can skip to the one they came for and a language model can lift a clean answer.
What “furnished” means here
A published inventory rather than an adjective: beds and wardrobes, sofa and dining set, air conditioning in every bedroom, a working kitchen with appliances, washing machine, television, study desk and an internet connection live on handover day.
How we check a property before listing it
Every unit is visited and photographed by our own team, not the owner. We verify ownership documents, building facilities, parking, lift and generator backup, then record the floor, unit number and size that appear on the listing.
Short stays, long leases and company contracts
Minimum stay is 1 year. Companies can lease in their own name, receive one invoice per month, and move staff between units without signing a new agreement each time.
What you pay and when
Monthly rent, a security deposit of 3 months. Utilities charges as per use. There is no separate broker commission charged to the tenant.
